We believe in one true God, the Holy Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Come to know Him at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Please come and see all that Christ has done for you. We invite all who recognize that the world we live in is chaotic and dying. Come and see the Savior who is actively making all things new. We are robustly Lutheran in our confession that Christ has done all that is necessary for our salvation. All we can do in response is receive His gifts and love our neighbor.

We hold the Nicene Creed as what defines our faith and it is what we confess week in and week out. To further understand what that means you can go to our denomination's website: https://www.lcms.org/about/beliefs or you can go a read our confessional document: https://bookofconcord.org/

The best way to get to know us is by visiting. Here is everything you need to know about a visit to Trinity.

Q: I've never been to church before. How does this work? Do I make a reservation? Do I just show up?
A: You can just show up! There is no need to make a reservation or to call beforehand. We have space for you, and we often have people just show up.
However, you might feel more comfortable if you talked with us before arriving.
Even if you don’t talk with us before coming, you are welcome here.
Q: Where do I sit?
A: You are welcome to sit anywhere you wish. Seating is not reserved.
Q: Do I have to participate?
A: You are welcome to participate in the worship service to the extent that you feel comfortable. You do not need to sing any hymns or speak the creed or any other responses.
In general, it is polite to stand when the rest of the congregation stands and to sit when they sit, if you are able. However, if you are unable to stand or feel uncomfortable standing for the portions of the worship service when we stand, you are free to remain seated.
Q: What about communion?
A: Visitors and guest who are not members of Trinity are encouraged to visit with Pastor Clark to discuss our communion practices before partaking of the Lord’s Body and Blood.
Q: Does it cost anything?
A: Our worship services are provided free-of-cost.
If you wish to contribute, we take a freewill offering at our church and also offer online giving.
However, do not feel compelled to leave a contribution.
Q: How do I dress?
A: Many people choose to dress a little nicer for church, but you are welcome to attend in whatever you feel comfortable.
Q: Are children welcome?
A: Yes! We invite and encourage all children to attend worship with their families.
Q: Where do I park?
A: We have ample onsite parking.
Trinity is a Lutheran Church. This means that we are a Christian church that:
Bases its teachings on the Bible.
Emphasizes salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross.
Embraces God’s Word, the sacraments, and prayer as the center of Christian worship.
Engages in acts of Christian witness and love locally, domestically, and abroad.

The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) is a denomination that confesses the historic, orthodox Christian faith, a faith built on “the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone” (Eph. 2:20).
The LCMS, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., is mission-oriented and Bible-based. LCMS doctrine reflects the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther, as summarized in The Book of Concord: The Confessions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Churches in Odebolt play a vital role in building community, offering hope, and sharing God’s grace and mercy. Christ the King stands as a prime example—welcoming neighbors, serving those in need, and above all, extending the grace of God in Jesus Christ to all.
